In The Karate Kid: Legends, following a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is forced to move from his home in Beijing to New York City with his mother. Li does his best to put his past behind him, trying to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Lee enters karate competitions, but his skills alone aren’t enough. Lee’s kung fu teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), enlists the help of the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), and Lee learns a new way to fight, combining his two styles into one for a decisive martial arts showdown.
