I waited 4 episodes to really delve into this at length. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift we have been given by many top actors contributing to the creation of this work, which by the way is enjoyable and appreciated by many despite the mixed reviews. Many viewers have heard stories from a similar perspective, but this point of view here remains gripping as you tackle a more confusing but well-structured plot with female protagonists throughout, each confidently capturing our attention every time they appear. At the halfway point, we can’t tell if that sense of urgency as we discover more and more of what’s going on will remain at the level it currently is, but given the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they’ve been able to bring this to the screen with, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, mainly because of how solid the series feels.
