Virtual technology is a technique which creates a digital copy of a physical event or device, such as an online game or trade show. VR/AR/MR can improve the students’ skills, knowledge and confidence. Additionally, it can be used to cultivate empathy for patients and enhance medical training. Immersive VR for instance helps medical students develop an empathy for patients who suffer from the effects of aging and also give them the chance to assess patients with dyspnea.
